I’m Not Twenty – Melody of Life

January 30, 2008

The year was 2003…

“It’s not even a game
Get over your pain
I’m not twenty
Not even ashamed
Could we celebrate
Cause’ I’m not twenty
And life goes on and on
I go as I come
Mélodie de vie
I fly all alone
A light little stone
You get old at twenty
And I want to be free”

You’ve always asked how old do you look. Are we really young at heart? What will happen when we grow up… will you still be there? Don’t cry, LL.

Les Jours Tristes – The Bright Days

January 17, 2008

pieces of events glued together to form a brightful day. the version with lyrics sang by Yann Tiersen of Amélie’s most sensational soundtrack, Les Jours Tristes, found on track 15 of Jimmy’s “Turn Left Turn Right”. the surprise from the last track of the same album, Standfast’s Shine On, that i’ve heard but couldn’t find and didn’t even remember the times that i’ve listened to the ablum sitting in front of the freshman desk by the unobstructed window view of Campanile. and Steve Jobs’ well-presented speech at Mac World 2008 streamed over QuickTime, presenting the astonishing Macbook Air. the motivation from innovation and passion.
